Kee Engineering carried out fabrication work and pipework at a manufacturing plant in Dudley to support the fit-out of four stainless steel tanks.
Works included the site-welding of stainless-steel pipework to connect the tanks and the installation of screwed (screw-in) pipework for steam supply and condensate return.
Project Description
Works Included:
- Stainless Steel Pipework Welding & Installation
- Connections to Four New Mixing Vessels (new pipework)
- Valves & Associated Fittings
- Steam Supply Screwed Pipework
- Condensate Return Screwed Pipework
- Construction & On-Site Installation of Three New Pump Stands
- On Site Pipe Fit & Alignment Around Existing Plant
The integration of the new pipework and structural steelwork into the surrounding area was an essential part of this installation as it had to fit in around various pieces of existing equipment including vessels, machinery and other services located in the production area.
In addition, the newly constructed pipework connects the new equipment (vessels) to each other along with their respective support equipment, with the three fabricated pump stands also being built to provide a permanent location for the installed pumps.
